Overview

Eight teams take on the identity of great civilisations reborn as rival technology companies, all bidding for a digital banking contract with Hudson Hanseatic Bank. The scenario is set in banking, not about banking: the domain gives it teeth, and the learning travels to any industry. Across four phases, The Council, The Blueprint, The Forge and The League, they shape a strategy, price a five-year bid, defend it before a risk committee, and face the Tempest.
There are no right answers, only trade-offs with consequences: total cost of ownership, risk priced rather than avoided, delivery phased against uncertainty, and AI used as a tool of inquiry rather than an oracle. The same engine that has been delivered to hundreds of students runs at full strength for executives, risk professionals and delivery teams, in formats from a conference session to a full day.
