Tech Tempest^® for Schools

Overview

For one school day, your classroom becomes a marketplace. Eight teams take on the identity of great civilisations reborn as modern technology companies, all chasing the same prize: a digital banking contract with Hudson Hanseatic Bank. Across four phases, The Council, The Blueprint, The Forge and The League, students build a team, shape a strategy, price a bid and pitch to the client, wielding today's AI tools alongside the hard-won wisdom of their civilisation.

The scenario is set in banking, not about banking: the domain gives the day its teeth, and the learning travels to any industry. The design closes the knowing-doing gap. Students do not just learn about strategy and risk, they practise them, and the pitch before the client is the assessment. Everything beneath the surface is drawn from working enterprise practice, adapted with care for the classroom.

A trained facilitator runs the day. The class teacher plays the bank. The students do the thinking, and by the final pitch they have run a company from first meeting to closing argument. Tech Tempest has been delivered to hundreds of students across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
